Who We're Looking For

Heavy-Duty Marine Diesel Mechanics
  • Red Seal Endorsement as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or equivalent qualification recognized in Canada.

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain marine diesel engines and equipment, including but not limited to brands such as John Deere, Scania, and Detroit Diesel.

  • Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on marine transmissions and power generators.

  • Conduct complete engine overhauls and rebuilds.

  • Troubleshoot and repair engine systems such as fuel, air intake, cooling, and exhaust systems.

  • Keep detailed records of services performed and parts utilized.

  • Valid driver’s license and, if required, a valid passport for potential travel.

Marine Electricians
  • Certified Marine Electrician or equivalent; additional certification or Red Seal endorsement is a strong asset.

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in marine engines, transmissions, and generators, particularly for brands like John Deere, Scania, and Detroit Diesel.

  • Troubleshoot and repair marine electrical issues, including starters, alternators, wiring harnesses, and control panels.

  • Conduct electrical overhauls and preventative maintenance tasks.

  • Manage inventory of electrical parts and tools.

  • Document all maintenance and repair work completed.

  • Valid driver’s license and legal eligibility to work in Canada.

Welders
  • CWB Welder certification or equivalent professional welding qualification recognized in Canada.

  • Perform welding tasks using SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications to determine the layout for welding projects.

  • Fabricate components and assemblies for commercial vessel construction and repair.

  • Conduct inspections of welds to ensure conformance with national and international standards and project-specific requirements.

  • Maintain equipment and manage supplies needed for welding tasks.

  • Valid driver’s license and legal eligibility to work in Canada.
